Soundgarden are a Rock/Metal band from Seattle. They were one of the first and most influential bands from the Grunge movement, and many say that the band's break-up symbolized the end of the Grunge. However, they announced their comeback in 2010, and they have been working on a new album. Meanwhile, a new single has been released.

Periphery - Icarus Lives!
Periphery is a recent and promissing Progressive Metal band. Their self-titled debut album was released about two years ago, and this year they will be releasing not one but two new albums (one of them being a concept album). Sounds exciting... meanwhile, I'll present to you their first single.

In Time
I saw this film recently and I liked it very much. It's about a dystipian future in which the currency is time instead of money, people stop aging at the age of 25 and they have to work to earn time and survive. I found this a very interesting subject indeed.

Tool - Ænema/Bill Hicks
Another great song by Tool. This happens to be the title track of their 1996 album "Ænema", and it is very much based on one of stand-up comedian and satirist Bill Hicks's sketches. The same happens with other songs such as "Third Eye" (from the same album).

Melvins - Honey Bucket
The Melvins might very well be one of the most popular and influent Rock/Metal bands of the 90's. Although they have never achieved mainstream success, their underground fame and credibility are undeniable, and they have influenced bands such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Tool and Mastodon with their fusion of sludge, hardcore, experimental, doom and stoner elements. "Honey Bucket", from the album "Houdini", is one of their most well-known "in your face" songs.
